5 Tips in 5 Minutes to 10X Your Energy Naturally

Now that I started working full time, I feel like it’s been more critical than ever to manage my energy levels. I usually give my all during the week, waking up at 5:45am, taking the dog on a long walk, rushing back home, showering and packing my lunch to rush to work. I know my process isn’t special, i’m aware that millions of others do the same day in and day out. I honestly love it, I enjoy the structure of things and at the end of the week I feel very accomplished.

Now back to what I was saying, I feel like it’s more important now than ever to manage and preserve my energy. By the end of the week i’m so exhuasted that all I want to do is lay down. But after trial and error. I’ve found that the more I just “rest”, sit around and do nothing to “Re-energize” I end up feeling more tired and sluggish than ever.

That’s why I decided to discover small ways I could re-energize while being active at the same time.

I believe, and i’m definitely not the first to discover this either, that there are two categories when it comes to gaining / losing energy.

There are “energy givers” and “energy suckers” that will be a video that I create in the near future. The difference between the two and how to identify along with manage them.

Before I ramble on into what that is, lets get into five tips and tricks that I do on the weekend to gain energy naturally.

#1 Saturday Morning Walk ( Light and for Enjoyment Purposes )

For the folks that work those hours all week, I know this is going to be tough. I understand how difficult it is to get up, lace up your shoes and decide to get some sun in your eyes and take that few mile walk.

Everything in your body is telling you to lay down, watch the news or Youtube, and sip on your coffee and relax. All of those things are fantastic. But trust me, after you get a little coffee in you, break out the shoes

and head outside to get a few miles in. Keep it as light as possible without making it strenuous. I suggest a few miles maybe 2-3, depending on what you prefer. Get those sun rays in your eyes, it’s going to set your matabilism up for a great day. If you sit on the couch for a few hours in the morning, it’s going to be much harder to get up during lunch.

NO THIS ISN”T WRITTEN WITH AI OR CHATGPT.

In fact i’m not even going to edit it with it, because if someone ever reads this one day, I want it to be 100% authentic and straight from the human heart.

Sheesh, anyone else so sick of reading crap or watching content printed from an AI? It’s such garbage.

What makes a content unique is the CREATOR and HUMAN ASPECT of it.

That was my little rant, let’s get back to tip #2…

#2 Eat Something Healthy and Clean in the Morning.

I had a smoothie with no added sugar in the video I posted. That’s usually what I recommend, some clean protein with fruits or veggies mixed in a smoothie or bowl are great.

I also each peanut butter and banana in the morning a lot, I get my dose of protein in and the sugar from the banana is tasty.

Keep it clean, keep it simple.

#3 Do Something Social

I recently moved to a new city and it’s been hard meeting new friends when you don’t know anyone here.

I’m sure a lot of people struggle with this as it’s a very common problem, I moved to San Diego May of 2024 after graduating college, not knowing anyone really.

Just my girlfriend, mom, dog and I. All I needed really.

“Social Media for Good”

One day i’m on Instagram, checking out my feed and I came across and account I remembered following a few years back because I thought his content was cool.

The post said “San Diego Golf Friends, Slide Up, Let’s Play”

The account was my now friend, Austin. He was ironically from Connecticut too, and he also moved out here to San Diego, what are the odds?
I hadn’t known him before moving out here either, I just saw his content on the reels page one day and thought it was cool so I followed.

and now… we have hung out multiple times, played golf, got food, did more activity like run, watch football, etc. and I got introduced to more friends and people my age out here through him

So you never really know lol, this is something I was very worried about when I moved here. I remember thinking “Man I don’t know anyone…”

I am very blessed to have a loving girlfriend, mom and dog, but one void I needed to fill in my life was that bro time, it was always fun to me occasionally. Watch some football, say a few words, and just enjoying the moment.

Sorry for the long rant on this one, and for any girls reading this, i’m sure you can relate to the importance on girl time once in a while, it’s fun.

So usually, Austin and I will play golf or watch some college football on the weekend, we both enjoy sports and the outdoors and everything San Diego has to offer.
Lastly, if you moved somewhere new like me, or are generally searching for a new crew, I totally get you and we’re probably alike in some ways. Keep trying and take every opportunity you get! It will happen.

#4 Avoid Processed Sugars and Sweet Treats, Substitute with Fresh Fruit Instead.

Sugar in small amounts is okay, your body actually needs it to disgest properly and fuel your cells and body completely.

But stay away from sweet treats like: Ice-cream, Cookies, Candy, Muffins, Pound Cake, Pie, etc.

I’m not perfect at all, I actually need to work on this lol.
I’ve been trying to eat some fresh fruit instead when i’m craving sugar. I love Mangos right now and Watermelon too,

Find any sort of fresh organic fruit you can and stay away from the processed stuff as much as you can!!

#5 Eat Out Once or Twice, Take a Break from Cooking

Life’s all about balance baby! Take a break from cooking and go spend some bucks on a good meal out.

Cooking takes up lots of time and energy and if you can just take a break from it for a day or two, it will help out. We ate at the Paragliders Cafe in San Diego, it’s a total vibe and it had healthy yet tasty food options. We got a chicken pesto sandwich, nice and clean and yummy while enjoying the beautiful ocean and paragliders.

Thank you LOTS if you made it this far!! My goal is 1 video every 2 weeks and 1 blog post per video!

My goal is to make this actually more frequent in the future if it turns into a full time thing.

Thanks y’all stay happy and healthy :) Much love
